About Me

In 1956 Janet Begneaud married her high school and college sweetheart Byron Begneaud. Byron loves hunting and fishing which Janet enjoys with him, but on a much smaller scale! Janet graduated in Home Economics from UL-Lafayette, worked a few years in the oil industry and in 1969 began her much loved real estate career.

Janet and Byron have only one son. He lives in Marin County, CA and has 2 children, Dylan and Logan. They are her pride and joy.

Janet enjoys the outdoors, fishing, hunting, shooting skeet and hiking, all of which she shares with Byron. She also has been very involved in civic affairs and projects mostly through the Junior League of which she is a past president.

Janet feels truly blessed to have the opportunity to work and be successful in an industry she loves. She looks forward to meeting you and helping you enjoy your real estate experience and maybe even make it fun. Janet Begneaud is your best friend in real estate.
